AGITATORIA 11: Violence and the State - police violence, counterstrategies, street medicsThe topic of Agitatoria #11 is state condoned violence perpetrated by the police. The focus will be on violence towards activists in the context of demonstrations, summits and riots. What counterstrategies are available to protect and prevent harm to ourselves and our friends? How can we repair damages of physical and psychological character? We will be visited by a group of experienced streetmedics, "Berlin Autonome Demo Sanis (BADS)", who will share their knowledge and give a short hands-on course in street medics and useful tips for the street-bound activist. AGITATORIA 11 will take place in Humla, Hausmania, Hausmannsgate 34, saturday 13th October from 14.00-20.00. It's all free. More detailed program to follow! Agitatoria is series of seminares dealing with counter-power and utopias. >From Friday 12/11 (18.00) to Sunday 14/11 (19.00) Humla will host a more in-debth course in streetmedics, dealing also with subjects like preventive care, psychological trauma and the use of alternative medicine.
